12 Spirits of Carnival

I had this one months ago... got into TnT carnival Sunday for whatever reason, and had to run straight and pick up my costume. I couldn't find two of the 3 other girls who were supposed to go with me, so I went with the one girl that was with me. We picked up our costumes, but then we didn't have anything else. I couldn't collect my boots because I didn't have any info for Afro so I had to use these old beat up sneakers. Then I told my friend lets go to the mall to try and get some make up, glitter, etc, but when we got there all the stores were closed and they were turned into make up boots for all the people who were getting their make up done by professionals and of course we did not have an appointment, so we could not have ours done. So we ended up getting nothing at all but decided we were going to go anyway, since we had already paid for and gotten our costumes. But by the time we finished searching and decided we were going as is, carnival was over and we got to POS tuesday night, just in time to see the last sets of masqueraders heading home or wherever they were going.

Wait a minute, it seems like we all had our dreams around the same time...too much soca in our heads b4 going to bed, lolll.

My dream was...Carnival Monday came and I did not pick up my boots from AC
Thank goodness, its just a dream that will not become a reality...weewww

I keep dreamin I wake up Carnival Tues to find water gone, and current gone with the reserve tank empty!!!

Had my first Carnival related dream last night.. I was at the mas camp and they had all these matching coloured cowboy hats for Monday wear; I was so excited that we were actually getting Monday wear.There w as a pretty blue to match Spangled Cotinga.

Then one of the girls had some fabulous carnival makeup and we were discussing where she got it done. The mas camp had a rooftop and we ended up liming upstairs.. then I woke up.

how strange, i don't know if i've EVER had a carnival dream! But I did last night, and it was terrible. I dreamt that my best friend and I went to my cousin's house to get ready and we took so long that we missed carnival Monday!! I kept on trying to get them to hurry up but they just kept taking too long.

*EDIT* I know remember why we went by my cousin - because I forgot ALL my stuff in London and had no makeup etc so I went by her to borrow. HOW STRANGE!! I never ever have these dreams, what's happening to me!?

saucy - I think it's probably because it's my first time going back home for Carnival after being away since 2005. I always took Carnival for granted because I always played, never had a second thought about it, it was just part of my life I suppose. Never had problems getting into the band/section either.

Now it's stress to get into the band/section I want, stress to get flights, stress to get fit (so many years in a cold country and no yearly Carnival fitness regime) and all the other things - I think that's caused it. geez!

Last night I dreamt that my doctor called me and told me I was preggers and I was blue vex cause it would spoil my trip!
