Anyone in town for DC Carnival??
Masqueraders United will have tickets for sale for the BLU Carnival events which include
Thursday Tribe Ignite, Indulgence Mas on the road, Xen Saturday night, and limited amount of tickets for DV8DC Friday night (formerly Taboo) and Indigo on Sunday. Until the links are up on the Masqueraders United site, you can email me directly at kim@masqueradersunited.com to get tickets. Thanks

Are there pictures of Indulgence Mas?? I so miss Rascalz, and havent seen anyone else to play with.

I should be getting pictures of the costumes from the band leader today.
The flyers with Info on for all Blu Carnival events including indulgence Mas are on the www.masqueradersunited.com website. I believe he said it will be a short and t- shirt band. If you want Pretty Mas you still may have time to contact Panishamas.com. They won band of the year in 2008 for DC Carnival.

I will also have tickets for Tribe Ignite and Xen on Saturday night if you are local and interested in going to those fetes.

So how was DC?

I heard mixed reviews about DC. I ended up having to go out of town but I did go to Tribe Ignite which was not the best fete ever but it was ok. I think the blow of MJ passing that day had something to do with it for me at least.
I heard DV8 had its share of problems but on the road, indigo, the appreciation fete, xen, and soca in motion were all good. So overall many people said it was a good Carnival for DC.
Now Masqueraders united is putting together a package for Miami and ofcoarse we are doing Trinidad for 2010.
