WEAVE,NATURAL OR BRAIDS

For d past ten yrs i playing mas in braids so i think i need a new look so i will try a weave or some other crazy style.

Have u guys decided on what u rocking for monday and tuesday?

Luckily I have dreads, so this isn't even an issue for me. *looks around smugly*

Luckily for me, I have a small fro. I just need to get a hot colour and I'm good to go!

Last year for Monday I just had it in twists under a hat.

Tuesday I just released the twists and had them out.

As of right now, I have NO idea what I doing with my hair next year.

Carnival Diva I'm with you girl, I love rocking a short do. Think I'm gonna go blonde for Carnival though...or maybe blue...

Lucky for me I have dreads this year carnival they were passed my shoulders which wasn't bad. But now I have done the big chop and have just hitting my shoulders (were getting to heavy) so by carnival time I may take a next trim and do a mo-hawk so I don't have to have my hands up it in everyday.

i am lost about that whole hair topic, i feel i callin in fruity to put in some braids, i had my hair out n curly this year, that was a good style, i might do it again or a bum, or add some weave and make a long side plait or sumn

braids...micro braids take no maintenance so thats always a good look...u could get straight or wet and wavy and u dont have to worry about ur edges or ur hair texture matchin like u do with a weave

Nice to see a few sisters rocking the short style. I'm thinking I'll let it grow out a bit and do a mohawk, or something.

i think the twist are a good look. that is what i did this year and i will be doing that again next year

i grow my hair from august till carnival, and corn row it. this year was a mowhawk(white)... bout two years ago the girl was like she wanna try sumting and she corn rowed in braid with my hair, it came out longer and looked pretty decent. i think i keepin it short nex year.... why am i responding to this.. am a guy...lol

I have a nice size fro- Natural all the way- Love it... I put some texturizer in earlier this year but that only made it bigger and easier to manage- will consider twisting it but I will prob. press it for the first few days and then wash it and rock my fro straight through carnival

i loved that hair. got it done in Africa. it hurt like a mother to have them put in my 4 African women at a time. Nevah again!

i'm wearing nubian twists now. i'm not sure what I'll do. i'm thinking of wet and wavy blonde micros tho.

ok....STOP WITH THE MOHAWKS ALREADY!!! I am thinking it has been done to death!!! I rocked that 3 years ago when I had a ras and am suprised to see people still doing it year after year!!! What is with that???

I am waiting to see someone come up with a TRULY original hairstyle to make a statement. If I DO see it I will have to go up and salute that person oui!!!!

However , on the positive side, I am happy to see more men trying to be more experimental with doing things with their hair so Kris you should not feel 'ahow' replying to this post!!!

Oh...and I am bald now so I will just be rocking some face paint on my dome!!!

What trouble is this? So somebody cyah want a mohawk because they like it? Some of us aren't fashion victims you know. I will rock what I want to rock. And whatever is fashionable could just eff off!

So when I ready to rock a mohawk, I'll do it because I want to, and not because it's 'cool'. Because I am inherently cool. Yuh hear?

I never claimed you to be a fashion victim luv....if you decide to rock it because you jus feel to do it it is fine......but if you rock it simply because it is becoming the 'in thing' to do come carnival time then I have a problem. Too many trinis follow trends and never try tuh do sumthin new......I jus wanna see sumthin new and different dis year!!!

Weather weave, braids or natural my hair will be in a ponytail!
