This is a very good suggestion, honestly I have not been hearing anything new on the radio except for some soca from Cropover but will keep this in mind for when the new releases start coming out.

Well I had no idea there was a really a "Secret Section" for 2008.. the SECRET meant that I was keeping my section a secret.. and well I just ran with the same thing for 2009. As far as I know Heineken does not have a secret section for 2009. I think I give people enough hints that they can narrow down my possible section choices.. I mean you know for SURE I am not in OWL Yes AC hit it on the head with that one

Thanks for considering. I think that will be awesome. Also add "What's Hot in Carnival Fashion". Coming from Texas I would have for sure brought my cowboy boots and hat for 2k8 (not that I have any but I would have found some). Got to Trinidad for Carnival this year and swear there was a rodeo going on somewhere (Gyal Farm).

But I like my anonymity so I can go to people band launch and mas camp in peace and do my reviews without having people I know get all offended cause I did not like their costume! I don't want people actively seeking me out to put a face to the name tp black list me for 2010 lol. I know several of these people as my alter ego aka "real self"

Well Island People is easy, Sonia Mack will be first of course lol. I am guessing one of Diane's will be in the top five.... maybe Natural Mystic. Crystal Amming's Rays of Light SHOULD be in front as well as Dreams but yuh know how these things go.

As for TRIBE, for sure one of Monique's will be first.. either Bird of Paradise or Kiskidee and I suspect BOTH will be in the top 5/6 sections. African Love Bird, Caged Canary and Spangled Cotinga are way too big for #1 so I suspect they will be somewhere in the top 5, Cotinga for sure is in the top 5. Either Hummingbird of Pheasant will be one of Gail's sections to be top 5/10 as well. Ibis might sneak in to # 6 or 7 just because Lana's name is attached to it (note I did not say she DESIGNED it). Macaw will be in the top 10 as well, quite possibly even higher.

Afro is Galvanize section.. I think it might be middle of the band
