what do you normally do for this.. i normally attend a Jouvert style party and am home by 6 or 7 am.. get a couple hours shut eye then back on the road by noon

No J'Ouvert for me! I went one year and realised it wasn't for me. I will lime at home with whoever's sleeping over at mine and we'll go down the road together the next day. You can't beat a home lime!!

I agree with you Saucy. A friend of mine plays J'Ouvert, and ends up falling into a deep sleep when we stop for lunch, which she is always jarred out of when it's time to move agin. She's usually too tired to enjoy the morning, and by the time she gets into it again, we're winding down to go home. Waste of a day, if you ask me!

If I sleep during lunch, I want it to be because I drunk!! drunken

hehe, I thought I'd have a hard time if I did Jouvert and play mas on Monday but surprisingly I was fine so I'll be doing it again. The only thing is that I don't stay until the very end.

Not sure who to play Jouvert with next year tho..

i sleep all sunday afternoon and evening, go j'ouvert with red ants from 4 to about 8, home, scrub off in the front yard, power nap, dress and out to meet tribe by 11

wow this is my first post on here i think! i normally hit a pre jouvert party at about 10pm then head home for 2am change, then str8 out on de road to meet my band yellow devils wit me crew normally we aim to be home for 8am to be back out for monday mas for noon but this year all that failed and was uncotious on a pavement and had to be carried home at 10am lol i made it out for monday mas at about 430pm for an hour i need to make sure that dont happen next year cheers
