| My J'ouvert tradition is this:
I stay up on Carnival Sunday night into Monday morning altering/embellishing costumes for me, my mom and aunts.
Hubby goes off to play j'ouvert, I go sleep.
About 6:00/6:30 when it start to get bright, I get a call to get my sons up and dressed.
Boys wake up, get dressed, their daddy passes for them, I take some pics, they go play J'ouvert, I go back to sleep. | |

| I usually work on Carnival Monday morning, but a few years back I started playing J'Ouvert, usually in ElDorado or Couva... The only downside is that now I have to work on Carnival Tuesday mornings. | |
